Founded by Scot Sarver and Michelle Robson, our company’s core mission is to provide world-class support and services for medical societies, pharmaceutical companies, and medical professionals across a variety of therapeutic areas, including neuromodulation, pain management, neurosurgery, and more. OUR JOURNEY
SCORAH’s journey is a story of innovation, excellence, and collaboration. From its beginnings in society management to becoming a leader in global medical education, SCORAH has achieved significant milestones that reflect its commitment to advancing healthcare professionals and their practices.

2006: Michelle Robson begins producing the 14th Napa Pain Conference for Dr. Eric Grigsby and launches Mantra/MB Business, focusing on society management and medical education.

2007: Takes over management of WVSIPP (West Virginia Society of Interventional Pain Physicians) and relaunches it as a stand-alone society, achieving exponential growth.

2010-2014: Guides WVSIPP through the ACCME certification process, culminating in Certification with Commendation in 2014, placing it among the top 10% of medical societies.

2019: Plays a pivotal role in founding the American Society of Pain and Neuroscience (ASPN), which grows to over 6,000 members and hosts meetings with 1,500+ attendees annually.

2021: Welcomes Trista Tankersley as Director of Logistics and Faculty Management, enhancing SCORAH’s operational efficiency and conference planning capabilities.

2022: SCORAH is officially formed through the merger of Mantra/MB Businessand Scot Sarver’s team, solidifying its expertise in compliance, hands-on training labs, and premium medical education.

2023: Manages a growing portfolio of societies, including FSIPP, STARS, PSPS, and the Vagus Nerve Society, while expanding conference reach globally.
OUR TEAM

Michelle Robson, Co-Owner
President of Society Management and Education
Michelle Robson brings 20+ years Industry experience in management and education, Pharmaceutical, Biotech and Device in Pain and Neuromodulation. She started Mantra/MB Business in 2006 and merged with Scot Sarver’s team to create SCORAH in 2022. In addition, she currently is the Director of Education for ASPN and the Executive Director for both FSIPP and VNS. She is a team leader, program coordinator and project lead who specializes in strategic planning. She lives in Ohio with her amazing husband, two step-kiddos and dog, Stella, who rules her world.

Gladstone McDowell, MD
Chief Operations Officer
Dr. Gladstone C. McDowell II is the President of Targeted Care Solutions, providing consulting services in pain medicine, patient safety, and medical devices. He previously served as the Medical Director for Integrated Pain Solutions and Gemini Surgery Center in Columbus, Ohio, retiring in 2023. Dr. McDowell completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Miami, earned his medical degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center, and completed residency in Urology, Anesthesiology, and a fellowship in Pain Management. A founding member of the Cancer Pain Research Consortium, he has held faculty positions at numerous prestigious institutions and served on the Polyanalgesic Consensus (PACC) Panels in 2007, 2012, 2016, and 2024. He has authored papers, contributed to books, and appeared in the Discovery Channel film “Surfing the Healthcare Tsunami.”

Jeremy Mattila, Director
Industry Liaison
Jeremy Mattila is the Industry Liaison for SCORAH Consulting. He joined the team in 2022, securing sponsorships and facilitating relationships between industry partners and societies. His background includes sales, advertising and customer service. Jeremy grew up in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and moved to Minnesota where he and his family now live. He enjoys golfing, hiking, fishing, grilling and especially lumberjacking.

Kimberley Meegan, Director
Infrastructure Management and Industry Liaison
Kimberley is a passionate hospitality professional with 20+ years in the hotel industry. With both Hyatt and Marriott Hotels, she successfully developed and led high performing sales and operational teams that consistently exceeded revenue goals to meet growth targets. Kimberley approaches each of SCORAH’s clients as a guest and works to insure a “Ritz” level experience with every connection. For our SCORAH team, Kimberley is responsible for special projects and outreach to faculty, industry sponsors and registrants.

Rosa McKenzie, Coordinator
Conference Logistics
Virtual Programs Coordinator by day, standup comic by night, dog whisperer 24/7. An expert in making online events fun and flawless, Rosa joined the SCORAH team in September 2024, jumping into a variety of projects and events. When she's not managing virtual events, she's bombing at open mics, being bossed around by her foster dog, Kevin Bacon, or baking things she'll regret eating later. Whether it’s planning, performing, or pug-sitting, she thrives on keeping things dynamic, creative, and (hopefully) a little funny.

Madison Ferrucci, Contractor
Digital Marketing and Creative Consultant
Madison Ferrucci is a Marketing Specialist at SCORAH Consulting. With a background in UX and UI Design, Merchandising, and Business Analytics, Maddie joined the Marketing Team in October 2024 to bolster their efforts. In her free time, she enjoys spending quality moments with her fiancé, Andrew, playing with their dog, Lucy, exploring her passion for makeup, and teaching barre classes!

Todd Gagnon, Director
Travel (Partner with HelmsBriscoe)
Todd comes to SCORAH with 35 Years in the hospitality industry, including 20 years with Caesars Entertainment in a variety of different sales leadership positions. For the past 6 years, Todd has been an Associate Vice President with HelmsBriscoe which is the the leader in global meetings procurement. Over the last (5) years HelmsBriscoe has booked $5.6 billion in room revenue, 28 million room nights, nearly 200,000 programs resulting in a contribution of roughly $10 billion in gross meeting spend to the hospitality community. We boast 1,400 Associates in 55 countries. Todd loves to help clients strategize, educate, negotiate and execute great and memorable experiences

Sarah Sarver, Contractor
Hotel Liaison
Sarah joined SCORAH in April of 2024. She has an extensive background in customer relations. While working with her husband, Scot, building up WAPMU by helping out with hotel logistics, running cadaver labs and making lifelong friends, she has been a Client Service Specialist at Ameriprise Financial for over 17 years. Sarah and Scot live north of Boston where they raised their three kids and enjoy being told what to do by their infamous pup, Bo. In her spare time you can find her reading, enjoying friends and family, planning their next trip or shamelessly binging tv and movies.

Poppie Guidugli, Manager
Faculty and Education Management
Poppie comes from a decade of Nursing experience practicing in Emergency Departments, Pediatric Hospitals and leadership roles throughout the Country. Throughout her time as a nurse, she has worked under Michelle at Mantra/MB Business with a focus on faculty and education coordination. Poppie's experience has taught her to adapt in fast paced workflows and environments. Outside of work, Poppie loves to cook, be outside, and travel with her husband, son, two dogs and cat.

Scot Sarver, Co-Owner
President of Medical Labs and Training
For over two decades, Scot Sarver has been a driving force in the medical industry, dedicated to advancing patient care and innovative medical solutions. He began his career as an Operations Director in the medical device industry before co-founding the non-profit medical society, The World Academy of Pain Medicine United (WAPMU), 15 years ago. As Executive Director and Chairman of the Board, Scot led WAPMU in its mission to promote multidisciplinary collaboration and advance evidence-based approaches in procedural intervention techniques for chronic pain. Under his leadership, WAPMU held 112 meetings in 16 countries, training over 16,600 physicians, contributing to improved pain management for countless patients worldwide. In 2022, Scot joined Michelle Byers-Robson’s team at Scorah, a company focused In the medical education industry and specializing in the planning and execution of premium meetings, training sessions, and conferences.. A lifelong resident of the area north of Boston, Scot enjoys golfing, cooking, traveling, and spending time with his wife Sarah, their three adult children, and their dog Bobo. Scot is passionate about improving healthcare outcomes through collaboration, innovation, and education.

Amit Gulati, MD
Non-Profit Medical Society Advisor
Dr. Amitabh Gulati is the current president of World Academy of Pain Medicine United (WAPMU) and has worked closely with multiple medical societies in providing content programming and education. He currently works in New York City as a practicing physician. He completed his undergraduate studies at University of Texas at Austin, his medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine, and training in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine at Emory University and Weill Cornell School of Medicine respectively. He has numerous publications and textbooks and is dedicated to innovating education for medical and allied professionals.

Trista Mattila, Director
Logistics and Faculty Management
Trista Tankersley is the Director of Logistics and Faculty Management for SCORAH Consulting. She is detail-oriented with a background in media, hospitality, and event planning. Her favorite part about this job is that the work is different every single day, and you can see the product of your efforts when event day comes! Trista joined the team in 2021 and grew to a leadership position where she oversees programs from start to finish, working closely with each division of the team and Course Directors to ensure the final program meets goals and expectations. In her spare time, Trista enjoys all of the things, Lord of the Rings, classic rock, Agatha Christie books, puzzles, hiking, board games, and playing with her kids and dog are at the top of the list!

Nicole Falconite, Manager
Faculty Logistics and CME
Nicole Falconite serves as the Faculty and Logistics Coordinator for SCORAH Consulting. With a strong background in customer relations and office management within the medical sector, she has discovered her ideal role at SCORAH. Nicole thrives on collaborating with faculty, overseeing onsite operations, acquiring new knowledge, and finding innovative ways to enhance efficiency (can we call her a perfectionist?). In her free time, she loves hosting game nights with her five children, sharing quiet reading moments with her partner, enjoying all genres of music, appreciating the beauty of nature, and having relaxed evenings with friends.

Lauren Mack, Contractor
Digital Marketing and Creative Consultant
Lauren is a passionate marketing consultant at Scorah, where she’s been crafting impactful strategies and managing marketing, website, and social media needs for clients since January 2024. With a wealth of experience in marketing, event planning, and graphic design, she excels at transforming ideas into memorable brand experiences. Beyond her professional pursuits, Lauren cherishes the joy of exploring the world with her husband and two beautiful baby girls, making memories at every turn.

Jackie Goldman, Manager
Logistics and Meeting Services
For over 25+ years Jackie has established a consistent record of achievement in providing optimal levels of quality and service, resolving deadline issues, and developing productive internal, client & vendor relations. Jackie is passionate about all things consumer and is laser-focused on connecting great people with amazing experiences. From concept to planning to execution, she prides herself on defining vision around “what could be” and then making it happen.

Tatum is a seasoned educator and digital marketing expert. She has a Bachelor's degree from Arizona State University and brings a unique blend of creativity and pedagogical skills to the table. With over a decade of experience in website design and marketing,Tatum possesses a deep understanding of digital trends as well as audience engagement. In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with her husband & two children.

Whitney Wollman, Coordinator
Logistics and Special Projects
Whitney Wollman is the Logistics and Special Projects Coordinator at SCORAH Consulting. She has a background in direct support for individuals with disabilities, including both in-home healthcare and vocational training, along with years of experience in the service industry and customer service, where she has developed strong adaptability, communication, and problem-solving skills. Outside of work, Whitney enjoys spending quality time with her three kids, two cats (Muenster and Chili, the true rulers of the house), and her partner and his family. She’s passionate about baking, and while she might claim to have perfected her homemade chocolate chip cookies and banana bread recipes, she’s always up for a little friendly kitchen competition. When she’s not baking or with family, Whitney loves exploring philosophy, creating art, listening to podcasts, watching documentaries, or getting lost in a good book—especially on a rainy day.
